Kill LOCAL=NO Processes at one go

Kill LOCAL=NO Processes at one go

Whenever you are trying to shutdown the database, sometimes it will hang up in the process of shutdown.

At that time, open another terminal and grep for LOCAL=NO processes “ps -ef|grep LOCAL”

Output

oracle 3747948 1 0 Apr 27 – 0:00 INSTANCENAME (LOCAL=NO)
oracle 3756240 1 0 Apr 27 – 0:00 INSTANCENAME (LOCAL=NO)
oracle 3760174 1 0 Apr 27 – 0:00 INSTANCENAME (LOCAL=NO)
oracle 3788896 1 0 15:29:15 – 0:00 INSTANCENAME (LOCAL=NO)
oracle 3805228 1 0 Apr 27 – 0:00 INSTANCENAME (LOCAL=NO)
oracle 3833928 1 0 23:19:07 – 0:00 INSTANCENAME (LOCAL=NO)
oracle 3846358 1 0 Apr 27 – 0:00 INSTANCENAME (LOCAL=NO)
oracle 3850352 1 0 Apr 27 – 0:00 INSTANCENAME (LOCAL=NO)
oracle 3858606 1 0 18:00:08 – 5:12 INSTANCENAME (LOCAL=NO)
