Install Oracle Fusion Applications Provisioning Framework

 

Previous: Provision Identity Management (IDM Install)

Now we are installing Oracle Fusion Applications Provisioning Framework on second node (FA Node)

[root@fusion ~]# hostname
fusion.appsdbatraining.com

[root@fusion ~]# hostname -i
192.168.1.21

[root@fusion ~]# groupadd dba

[root@fusion ~]# useradd -g dba oracle

[root@fusion ~]# su – oracle

Staging area:  /u01/sw

[oracle@fadb8 Disk1]$ cd /u01/sw/installers/faprov/Disk1

[oracle@fadb8 Disk1]$ ./runInstaller
Starting Oracle Universal Installer…
Checking if CPU speed is above 300 MHz. Actual 1980 MHz Passed
Checking Temp space: must be greater than 150 MB. Actual 441527 MB Passed
Checking swap space: must be greater than 512 MB. Actual 27135 MB Passed

Please specify JRE/JDK location ( Ex. /home/jre ), <location>/bin/java should exist :/u01/sw/jdk6

Choose Inventory Location and Click Next

Type oraInventory location and group as dba

FADB_Prov2

Run .sh Script and Click Ok

Provisioning Screen will start

Click Next

Click Next

FADB_Prov6

Chose Provisioning location as /u01/faprov

Click Install

FADB_Prov8

Click Next

FADB_Prov9

Review the summary and click Finish.

Once Oracle Fusion Applications Provisioning Framework is installed, we need to create FA Database using the same framework.

Next: Install Oracle 11g Database (Fusion Apps Database)
